What I love about aerial photography is the ability to see patterns in a landscape that one doesn’t see from the ground. Because of the distance, 3D details can become almost two-dimensional and abstract, so I’ve focused on particular elements of landscapes, whether they be natural or man-made, and used them as inspiration for finding similar or contrasting details in clothing. I shot most of the aerial images in Sicily, Mauritius, and Sardinia.
